HowNow® Procedures Screen

The Procedures screen in HowNow® Knowledge Manager is where your team can quickly and easily find any procedure. It is a simplified version of the Documents screen that displays only procedures and no other document types.

The Procedures screen is useful for induction and training of new team members because they should—according to the businessfitness™ methodology—use the procedures as a starting point, and not go straight to a document such as a checklist or form that might not be the first step to be done in the procedure. More experienced staff will use the Documents screen as their primary search screen, but the simplicity of the Procedures screen makes it incredibly easy for new team members to learn how to search in HowNow®.

Many of the same features of the Documents screen also apply to the Procedures screen, such as version control and automatically filtering out irrelevant documents.

Easy Keyword Search

Type a keyword or phrase and HowNow® instantly displays a list of relevant procedures.

Easy Search Filters

As for the Documents screen, clicking on a filter on the left of the screen, such as Procedural Area or Topic, instantly shortens the search results list.

New team members will be able to find the procedure they are looking for within seconds. The amount of training is negligible because it's so easy to use.
